Comments: Beautiful but needs care until established. Some find this little hosta very difficult to keep past its second year. Unless given the right conditions, it can dwindle rather than grow. Give plenty of light (not sun) and allow the roots room to grow. This is not a mini to bonsai or restrict in a shallow trough. Give a root stimulant, e.g. seaweed feed, and weak fertiliser throughout the growing season. £9.00.

Less vigorous miniature hostas will be posted in the pot or in compost. We only sell well-rooted hostas. Size of Hostas in our Catalogue

For each variety we have given an estimate of the mature height based on a consensus of websites, the registered height, and our own experience. However, the mature size of an individual Hosta will depend very much on growing conditions so the height given should be taken as a rough guide only.

Leaf Size  The average mature leaf size of all miniature, very small and large-leaved/giant hostas is given.

Originator/Breeder  Each entry lists the breeder or originator of each variety together with the date of registration with the American Hosta Society.

Protected varieties ®  Hostas with this symbol after their name are protected varieties. Propagation for resale is prohibited.

Availability  Not all our Hostas are ready for sale at the beginning of the season. Please check with us before paying.
